Earlier today, Trudeau unveiled a multi-billion-dollar, two-month suspension of government sales tax starting December 14. The temporary measure will cover grocery items, restaurant meals, beer and wine, and children’s essentials.
Trudeau also announced a one-time $250 payment for working Canadians who earned up to $150,000 in 2023.
