Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre, addressing U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff threats, tells Trump to “knock it off” and says, “we can be friends again” referring to Americans if Trump “reverses course.”

Poilievre also states that a new Conservative government will make Canada self-reliant, giving the country the ability to “stand up to the Americans,” while warning Trump that “Americans will be isolated and alone.”
