Says the man who jetted from Ottawa to Iqaluit, up in Nunavut and return. Not for a vacation, but for a few minutes announcement and photo op in the local fire hall. Why did he not go by bicycle then dog team? Of course, if he did, dog farts would have burned, melted the arctic instantly. And the arctic doesn’t have enough fire trucks to put out ice on fire.

The mental health of our younger population (and many older) is already in a crisis situation, and now he is making it worse, stressing them out about the planet imploding if they vacation with their parents. This guy is absolutely nuts.

If there was a genuine interest in helping the ecology we would see efforts made to stop massive deforestation by poisoning (yes Canada poisons large forests), harvesting of whatever dead wood stands, then plants “desirable” species like poplar or spruce. This is actual ecocide. For say 100 billion, a quantity of advance low waste (breeder) reactors could replace much of Canada’s coal burning electricity generation. Instead we see utterly horrible eco disasters “solutions” like ocean windmills which produce power at a higher cost than nuclear while destroying ocean ecology. In other words this all looks “off”. Something is afoot.

the country is run by a group of criminal psycopaths who love to make idiotic statements, and tell grandiose lies. I think they have a contest within the cabinet about who can say the most idiotic things, or tell the biggest lies. even George Orwell would be shocked by Canada's ministry of truth

I swear, this insane Global-Warming/globo-homo ideology over the past 30+ years is like the rise of early Christianity. I don't laugh anymore; it's getting frightening to hear such maddening speak more & more.

The crazy part is that Canada produces around 3% of the total of the world's carbon dioxide (which is a building block of life by the way) and cars contribute less than 0.2% of that total. We have trees all over, and they absorb the carbon dioxide and replace it with what? Oxygen!

The sun controls our climate - not carbon dioxide and not King Canute (aka Mark Holland).

Not to mention the most significant greenhouse gas is water. If only these politicians would cease respiring.

I believe that the correct data is that 97% of carbon dioxide comes from natural sources like decaying vegetation. Of the remaining 3% "man made" CO2, about 1.6% is emitted by sources within Canada.

Very interesting. I have a question for anyone paying attention. With all the sunblock technologies being funded and propagated….. how exactly does solar panels fit into this equation? It’s obvious with all the double speak that we attend to —- we have a serious problem and it is not climate change.
