The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms says they are pleased to announce that charges against Rachid Chadli for refusing to attend a quarantine hotel have been dropped due to excessive delay. Mr. Chadli was coming back into Canada and couldn't afford to stay at the designated hotel due to financial difficulties. In May 2021, he was issued a fine of $3,755, and the case was adjourned multiple times due to unavailability of court resources.
