In the words of forest gump…Stupid is as stupid does. This retaliation will only hurt Canadians. Then again, expect nothing more than idiotic ideas carney who is only interested in his own personal gains. Check out brookfield ! Oh yeah , dont forget about his debt to china for 250+ loan. Wake up canada, he is not a canadian!

Not my Prime Minister.

And just like that, Canada has won!

The benefit to Canada, to Canadians is ... what?

Still waiting Mark.

After their chosen candidate was booted to the curb to make room for Carney, here’s hoping there are enough Liberal voters who take a stand to boot Carney to the curb on April 28th!

Lord Carney is home. I'm sorry about that.

He’s like a sucking chest wound….

Tariffs accomplish the same thing as a carbon tax but you get to blame someone else for making you do it.

Agreed. We are happy he is not in the UK, but sad he's landed in Canada.

Phony as they come. He's definitely got a plan here. It all falls perfectly into play with isolating Canada from the world, to ensure NET 0 compliance with UN Green agenda and 15 minute cities..... WHO WILL NEED A CAR, right? Absolute hypocrite.

It can't be how retarded this country is. It just can't be.

I predict a big upswing in imported cars from Germany, Japan and Korea. I'd add Britain and France to the list but they make shitty cars. Italian is also an option if you've got the coin.

OR, you could just buy a good used car. Soon though, because the price will be going up.

Upvoted for brevity, which according to Shakespeare is the soul of wit:)

I wonder if that's so, or if he's playing trade wars for another reason, much bigger reason... :)

Isn't this to keep the boogeyman alive in his flock, their critical thinking asleep so he can keep running against and stirring the fear it's Trumps fault.

This is going to be hard on fleet operators, so expect the cost of car rentals and taxis to go up. There are some cars being made in Canada still, here's a list.

As for heavy trucks, I looked around but couldn't find a Canadian manufacturer. If this BS persists I expect we'll start to see MAN, DAF and Scania trucks appearing on our roads soon.

PS your link took me to a 404 error

LOL. Probably overloaded with requests so they took it down.

Well and then there is many of us fanatical vintage car restorers still - the ultimate in recyclers!

98 Jeep XJ here. 275K and still going strong. Has almost doubled in value in the 8 years I've owned it.

Best choice for a post-apocalypse automotive world, Chrysler products from 64 to 86. A lot of parts are common to those years.
