"London, July 29, 2024 – In a landmark ruling, the High Court has upheld the emergency ban on the prescription, sale, or supply of Gonadotrophin-Releasing Hormone Analogues, commonly known as puberty blockers, for individuals under 18 experiencing gender dysphoria."

>>> for individuals under 18 experiencing gender dysphoria.<<<

Note to the author of this article. We have to be very careful with the words that we use. In this case that last sentence reads like "gender dysphoria' is an actual thing and not just something dreamed up by psychiatrists (who at one time thought frontal lobotomies were a good thing and that homosexuality was a mental disorder).

I have several gay friends, both male and female, who believe they were born that way. I have no reason to doubt them, and while the assertion remains unproven, if they feel that way and are comfortable with it then I see no reason to regard their sexual orientation as something aberrant that needs to be cured. We all know where that leads.

What this 'gender dysphoria' nonsense sounds like is simply a failure to acknowledge that the person so affected is actually gay, and that in the course of time they'll come to realize that and come to terms with it. That still has its difficulties, but we've come a long way as a society in accepting the fact that some people are attracted to the same sex.

Not so though when you infuse young minds with the notion that they might be a girl or boy trapped in the opposite body. What's really happening here is unethical people are using this made up definition to prey on young people who in reality probably just need some counselling to accept the fact that they might be gay. In short, "transgenderism" is nothing more than an assault on the gay community and what needs to be banned is not just the drugs, but the people promoting this nonsense, especially those within the psychiatric and medical professions.

Here's something to think about and perhaps use as a talking point the next time someone mentions 'gender affirming care.' Who are you really doing this for? The child, or yourself?
