Ottawa, ON – On August 26, 2024, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice dismissed the Crown's appeal against the acquittal of Christine Decaire, who had been charged with mischief during the Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa.
Highly concerning how the Crown keeps appealing when they know damn well they have no evidence. It's almost as if they don't like democracy and rulings that go against them. They're doing the same thing with Coutts. They're making criminals of Canadians who aren't criminals. Just like commies do.
I don't blame them though. Our institutions have done nothing to hold Trudeau to account for his abuses. For example, the RCMP never interviewing him about SNC. Talk about sending all the wrong signals to a person with a despotic impulse. We're allowing them to waste tax dollars and make a mockery of justice and they're taking full advantage.

Even more odious than the fact these spurious charges were brought is that the crown would pursue an appeal, which was bound to fail anyway. This is an abuse of public office as far as I'm concerned, but then so were the original charges, so nothing new there I suppose. Your tax dollars at work.

Very happy to hear this Judge's decision, appears to still have some integrity and honour to uphold the law. Waiting to hear decisions on other on going court cases is nerve racking! Seems that the Judge in the Coutts 2 matter is lacking in the honour/integrity department, did someone up the food chain get to him??? His "fact finding" in this case suggests it's probable!!
