This is why I have to describe it as a 'vaccine cult'.
It has all the hallmarks of brainwashing, the same levels of entrapment and refusal to 'think outside the box' as you would find in a cult member. Any bad or malicious behaviours are chalked up to accident or happenstance, a mere coincidence to be ignored. 'Dear leader could never intend harm upon us!'
They persecute the "unbeliever", the heretics who dissent from the Cult of Vaccine, with threats of bodily harm, jail, fines, whilst invoking coercion tactics such as bribes and 'favourable treatment', all whilst spitting venom on the so-called "anti-vax" or "unvaccinated".
I recognise the term vaccine cultist has not gained as much traction as I would like, but people are now seeing the levels of obliviousness and denial in the face of *overwhelming* evidence said cultists possess. It is not a rational position to hold, it has no basis in evidence, it is 100% a religious delusion and fervour, the kind other organisations can only look upon with jealousy.
The same for my father unfortunately. He's convinced the "way out of this" is through vaccination. And he is correct - this is the way to exit living.
He's been a supporter of the flu jabs for years and I'm certain he's "up to date" this fall with both. I fear this will be the mistake that costs him his life. I don't speak with Dad since the big push for the covid jabs. I fear I may never see or speak with him again because of his devotion to the covid and pharmaceutical cult.
Wehavel close family friends who are on a dozen plus medication a day. Same thing,very proud of what they take and always claim "thank god for Canada's health care".Its boggles the mind!!
