Artur Pawlowski, a well-known street pastor in Alberta who garnered international attention due to multiple arrests for defying Covid-19 lockdown measures and steadfastly keeping his church open, has been sentenced to 61 days in jail but was given credit for time served.
Not good enough. It should be expunged and he should be compensated. He was outside for the services and he said nothing wrong or illegal in Coutts. This is a travesty imho
Artur had thousands or more people praying for him- for complete freedom and dropped charges. Thank you Jesus for this much, but I guess the justice system still needs to save it's own deplorable face. I read a bit about the trial proceedings with the illiterate crown prosecutor. He keeps his comfy government job like that guy Michael Sabia mentioned below in the comment by Critical. Thank you Artur for your efforts and for your reaching out to people who don't realize what's going on.

Hope he appeals this
