Detroit, Michigan – A federal jury in Detroit awarded over $12 million on November 8, 2024, to a former Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) employee, Lisa Domski, following her claim of wrongful termination due to religious discrimination over the company’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
BCBSM violated an employee’s constitutionally protected religious exemption AND then violated common sense by mandating a remote office worker who was more than 6 feet away from their nearest co-worker nevertheless still be vaccinated.
BCBSM is a two time offender whose executives need to be fired and personally fined for abusing authority they did not possess.
Serves them right by trampling on a persons rights without any thought to the consequences. The policy makers and top managers who allowed this to happen should pay this out of their yearly bonuses

“Blue Cross is examining its options” just a little too late. The whole point is that coerced and bullied employees had no options. Pay up.
