Harold Jonker, former West Lincoln councillor and owner of Jonker Trucking, has been charged with four counts of criminal charges 15 months later for his alleged involvement in the Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa.

Jonker’s spoke outside the Niagara Regional Police station with his five children and wife. He said he was there to turn himself in to police after they advised him the Ottawa Police had a warrant for his arrest.

He is charged with two counts of counseling an indictable offence, one count of mischief for obstructing property and one count of intimidation by blocking or obstructing a highway.
