USA strangely purchases drug for use in radiological and nuclear emergencies
According to an October 4, 2022 news release issued on the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services website, they have strangely and abruptly purchased $290 million worth of nuclear medication called Nplate.
According to the HHS website Nplate is used to "reduce radiation-induced bleeding, Nplate stimulates the body’s production of platelets. The drug can be used to treat adults and children."
It would appear according to the website news release that they have purchased this drug to "combat health security threats."
