New Poll Shows That 72% of Canadians Think Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Should Step Down

An exclusive Ipsos poll shared with Global News, surveying 1,000 Canadians, reveals that 72% of respondents want Prime Minister Trudeau to step down, with 33% of Liberal supporters sharing the same view.

The Ipsos poll also highlights that, in the event of an election today, 40% would vote Conservative, 24% would vote Liberal, and 21% would vote NDP.

Ipsos CEO Darrell Bricker, speaking to Global News, commented, “I’ve never seen a number that high for a prime minister, probably since Brian Mulroney back in 1991, 1992. And that’s what this really reminds me of.”
