FOI email shows the CDC Director lied to the public about COVID-19 vaccine breakthroughs, had much earlier knowledge of occurrence.
A recent Freedom of Information (FOI) request reveals an email that shows that CDC Director Rochelle Walensky was discussing and had knowledge of COVID-19 vaccine breakthroughs at the very start of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in the United States in January 2021.
This email is exceptionally important because it shows that Walensky, Collins, and Fauci knew almost right from the beginning of the vaccine rollout that there were vaccine breakthroughs happening but were telling the public differently and advocating for things like vaccine mandates and passports.
Walensky's January 30, 2021, email to other CDC staffers says she "had a call with Francis Collins this morning, and one of the issues discussed was vaccine breakthroughs."
Francis Collins was the director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) but resigned in December 2021.
Walensky then admits in the email that she had "this discussion (about vaccine breakthroughs) with Nancy a few weeks ago."
The Nancy she is referring to is Nancy Messonnier. She was the director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the CDC, but she also resigned in 2021.
Walensky ends the email by asking, "What are the next steps?" and says, "Collins is also discussing with Tony."
The Tony she is referring to is Dr. Anthony Fauci. He was the Director for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), but he resigned in December 2022.
So, the email clearly shows that Walensky had knowledge of COVID-19 vaccine breakthroughs weeks before this January 30, 2021, email. The U.S. COVID-19 vaccine rollout had only just started six weeks prior to this email on December 14, 2020.
This email also proves that CDC Director Walensky falsely told the public two months later, on March 29, 2021, through MSNBC's Rachel Maddow's Show, that 'our data from the CDC today suggests, you know, that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don't get sick, and that it's not just in the clinical trials but it's also in real-world data.'"
I pulled the transcript from Maddow’s show, you can see it below.
Walensky clearly knew that wasn't true based on the FOI email evidence we have now, but she decided to make that false statement anyway on Maddow's show.
There are several other instances in which Walensky, Collins, and Fauci falsely told the public differently, and these instances are not hard to find online.
One final interesting thing to point out, if you haven't already caught on to it, is that everyone involved in the scientific decision-making around Covid, vaccines, lockdowns, and mandates appears to be jumping ship. As mentioned above, Nancy Messonnier, Francis Collins, and Anthony Fauci have all resigned.
Additionally, Walensky has just announced that she is resigning as CDC director at the end of this month.
