BREAKING: Crown Prosecutors Drop Bail Violation Charge Against Freedom Convoy Organizer Tamara Lich
The charge of violating Lich's bail conditions originated from her alleged communication with another protest organizer, Tom Marazzo, in Toronto where she was receiving recognition at a gala.
As part of Lich's bail conditions, she was prohibited from contacting Tom Marazzo and others involved in the protest without the presence of lawyers.
The crown claimed that Lich allegedly attended the gala and was photographed with Tom Marazzo without any lawyers present. In fact, Lich had received permission from the court to attend the gala.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Lich, and she was subsequently re-arrested by police in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
The prosecution announced the dropping of the bail violation charge in court this morning, asserting that it is due to the trial involving her other charges falling behind schedule.
Tamara Lich is a Canadian hero.
The crown has very little credibility left...if any.
