A new peer-reviewed study examining myocarditis injury after the Moderna booster in healthcare workers found the incidence rate to be "more common than previously thought."
Out of 777 healthcare participants, 22 of them experienced myocardial injury. That's 1 in 35 participants. It was significantly more common in women, with 20 out of the 22 participants who experienced the injury being female.
